Sessions take place in a 20 acre ancient woodland, an oasis of calm and tranquility surrounded entirely by fields. Suitable for both adults and children, (we recommend children are aged over 12) the woodland is completely fenced, providing people with a comforting sense of ‘feeling safe’ whilst actually being in a truly wild environment. The woodland is not open to the general public and has its own private access.
You can ask questions about the sessions and/or the woodland by phoning the session leader direct, Susan Collini, on 01832 733457 or phone/text 07799 892900.
The woodland is accessible for wheelchairs in some, but not all places as it is essentially a wild wood where most of the paths are made by the creatures that live there.
Guided activities for the group will last around 2.5 hours, with an option to extend your visit if you feel it to be beneficial. Generally we’ll have a fire burning and often our visitors like the opportunity to spend extra time sitting and enjoying the warmth of the flames, the company, the surroundings and a hot drink.
Please complete the contact form so that we can contact you. We’ll then be able to answer any questions you may have and also be able to discuss session dates and times.
A mindfulness in the woodland session costs £15/person, to include all resources and materials used during the session, tea, coffee, cold drinks, biscuits and other foodstuffs that may be provided.. Free parking is available within the woodland.
We need a minimum of 6 people to run a session. Please see our Terms and Conditions page in respect of cancellation.
