Sessions take place in a 20 acre ancient woodland, an oasis of calm and tranquility surrounded entirely by fields. Suitable for both adults and children, (aged over 12) the woodland is completely fenced, providing people with a comforting sense of ‘feeling safe’ whilst actually being in a truly wild environment. The woodland is not open to the general public and has its own private access.
You can ask questions about the sessions and/or the woodland by phoning the session leader direct, Susan Collini, on 01933 623198 or phone/text 07799 892900.
The woodland is accessible for wheelchairs in some, but not all places as it is essentially a wild wood where most of the paths are made by the creatures that live there.
Guided activities for the group will last most of the 2 hours, but there will be opportunity for time-out too, whether you want to bathe in the tranquility of the wood from the ground or maybe from a hammock gazing up through the canopy. We almost always have a camp fire going, so that you can enjoy the soothing crackling of wood on the fire and maybe cook something too.
Please complete the contact form so that we can contact you. We’ll then be able to answer any questions you may have and also be able to discuss session dates and times.
A mindfulness in the woodland session costs £20, or £100 for block of 6 sessions, to include all resources and materials tea, coffee, cold drinks, and foodstuffs served as part of the session. Free parking is available within the woodland.
Group numbers are deliberately kept small.
