A great opportunity for some quality family time connecting with nature in a truly special place surrounded by fields. The wood is completely fenced, providing a secure place that encourages parents to relax, which is as important as the children having fun.

“Absolutely invaluable and great to be around other families who just ‘get it’.

We provide a range of activities, opportunities for observing the wildlife of the wood and plenty places where you can just enjoy some quality time quietly connecting with the sights and sounds of nature.

We have a camp fire on the go for everyone to enjoy. We’re working with 2 families at a time during the Pandemic – here’s some of our latest feedback (29th Nov)

Infrastructure

The private 20 acre wood is completely fenced all around, at the top of a long private access track

Supervision

We provide a team of volunteers to support families attending wild wood experience sessions

Personnel

A Forest School leader & volunteers together with a qualified First Aider will be in attendance

Insurance

We have appropriate insurance cover and risk assessments in place to cover all activities we run

Location

Situated between Thrapson and Corby, off the A6166, the woodland is near to local towns but in a very rural location
